We ate something in the beer garden and were satisfied. Large portions, reasonably priced, service very friendly. You can also spend the night there. Dogs allowed.

The restaurant is a bit hidden. The beer garden is pretty nice. Our service was very friendly. The ordered dishes were good in taste. The portions very large and the price / performance ratio for the Munich area very good.

We came spontaneously with two people in the Corona period. We could sit outside under the roof, everything was occupied inside. We even preferred it outdoors. In my opinion, all hygiene guidelines were implemented perfectly. The service was extremely friendly and quick. Now the most important thing: the menu leaves nothing to be desired, and the meat quality is not only very good, but also with a certificate. The side dishes were also very tasty. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Munich!

The Schmankerlwirt is one of my favorite restaurants. Very good home-style cooking with reasonable prices and sufficient portions. Claudia (the boss ?) is the landlady with a heart, always in a good mood and friendly, just like the rest of the staff. We always like to come to dinner, even to larger family celebrations. Great bavarian cuisine and very pleasant staff! We practically stumbled upon this place as we got lost, but decided to give it a try because we were starving. And boy, was it a surprise!<br> <br> Food: This is a typical bavarian style restaurant, so you would expect a meat-heavy menu, but they have several very good vegetarian options. I had an amazing green salad wit grilled goat cheese that was flavored with seasonal fruit and pine nuts. The bavarian schnitzel was cooked to perfection, I was told. And the Keiserschmarn we ordered as a desert was just splendid!<br> The portions here are very generous! So, if you are not that hungry think about sharing a meal with your company. <br> <br> Service: Very pleasant and friendly staff ready to accommodate any wishes you might have. We felt very welcome and next time we come wan't be by mistake but with intention to have ourselves a great dinner.
